Website page card OG image template

The page title, description, site name and icon, with the page's own image in a browser frame when it has one.

Website page card Open Graph image template rendered by Shareglint

This is a real render from the API with the example values below, at 1200×630.

The template behind auto OG images: one tag in your site template and every page gets this card, filled from its own title, description, icon and og:image — no fields to send. You can also render it like any other template. Without an image the title takes the full width and the site icon sits large in the corner; with no icon it shows the first letter of the site name.

Fields

Every field is optional. Long text shrinks to fit instead of overflowing; an image field takes a public URL that we fetch on our side.

Field Type Description Example
title text Page title. default: Untitled page How we cut our image pipeline from 9 seconds to 900 ms
description text Page description, up to two lines. Cold starts, font loading and a Chrome pool: what actually made renders fast.
site text Site name shown next to the icon. Northwind Blog
url text Page address shown at the bottom, without https://. blog.northwind.dev/image-pipeline
favicon image URL Site icon (PNG, JPEG or WebP); without it, the first letter of the site name. https://example.com/images/logo-northwind.png
image image URL The page's own image, shown in a browser frame on the right. https://example.com/images/dashboard.png
accent colour Brand colour as hex, e.g. #6366f1. Drives buttons, highlights and the background glow. default: #2563eb #2563eb
theme dark | light Colour scheme: dark or light. —

Render it with one request

Use the slug as template. The response holds the URL of the finished PNG; ?wait=true keeps the connection open until it is ready.

curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/images?wait=true" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "template": "site-card",
    "modifications": {
        "title": "How we cut our image pipeline from 9 seconds to 900 ms",
        "description": "Cold starts, font loading and a Chrome pool: what actually made renders fast.",
        "site": "Northwind Blog",
        "url": "blog.northwind.dev/image-pipeline",
        "favicon": "https://example.com/images/logo-northwind.png",
        "image": "https://example.com/images/dashboard.png"
    }
}'

Or paste a signed URL into og:image

For static sites, Webflow, Shopify and no-code tools: put the fields in the query string and sign it with your signing secret. The first request renders the image, every later one is a redirect to the cached file. How to compute the signature.

accent and theme change per request. For anything more, copy the template into your account: you get an ordinary HTML template with the same fields that you can edit in the dashboard or through the API. If the slug is free on your account, the copy takes it — your integrations switch to your version without changing a line.

curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/templates/library/site-card/copy" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY"
