# Shareglint

> Open Graph images over HTTP. You send JSON with a template name and field values, you get back a URL to a finished PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF. A render takes about a second.

## How it works

- `POST /v1/images` requests a render; `?wait=true` holds the connection until the image is ready.
- Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer sk_live_...`.
- Templates are the customer's own HTML and CSS with `{{ field }}` placeholders, or built from layers in the dashboard's visual editor (compiled to the same HTML and CSS); 21 ready-made built-in templates work on every account by slug (see Templates below).
- The same render ordered again hits the cache and uses no quota.
- Webhooks are signed with HMAC-SHA256 over `timestamp . "." . body`.
- Auto OG (no code): allow your domain in the dashboard or with `POST /v1/auto-og/sites`, then put one tag in the site template — `<meta property="og:image" content="https://shareglint.com/u/{account_id}.png?url={URL-encoded page address}">`. We read the page's title, description, icon and og:image and render a card (template `site-card` or your own); no API key or signature, only pages on allowed domains; an unchanged page is never charged twice. - View analytics: every image served through a URL is counted per day and per platform (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, Google, other bots, browsers) — `GET /v1/analytics?days=30`. No IP or user agent is stored.
- MCP server for AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor): streamable HTTP at `https://shareglint.com/mcp` with the same `Authorization: Bearer sk_live_...` key — tools render_image, get_image, list_templates, get_template, create_signed_url, get_usage, generate_template, take_screenshot, auto_og_url.
- AI templates (paid plans): `POST /v1/templates/generate` designs a 1200×630 HTML/CSS template from a description or a screenshot and returns it with a free preview; nothing is saved until you `POST /v1/templates`.

## Monthly quotas

- Free: 100 images, free
- Starter: 2,000 images — $9/month or $90/year
- Pro: 10,000 images — $29/month or $290/year
- Scale: 50,000 images — $79/month or $790/year

Annual plans cost 10 monthly payments instead of 12; the image quota still renews every month of the paid year.
Top-ups: a one-off pack of 1,000 images for $8, valid 12 months, used only after the monthly quota runs out. Nothing is charged automatically — without a pack the API answers 402 when the quota ends.
The Free plan needs no card and adds a watermark to the image.
We keep images for 30 days on Free and 365 days on paid plans.

## Languages

The site is available in: English (`/en/`), Polski (`/pl/`). English is the default (`x-default`).
Every page exists under each prefix, for example https://shareglint.com/en/docs and https://shareglint.com/pl/docs. Link people to the version matching the language they asked in.
The API itself answers in en, pl, de, es, fr, chosen by the `Accept-Language` header.

## What we do NOT do

- The visual editor in the dashboard is deliberately simple: layers (text, image, shape), fields, auto-fit. No template marketplace, no Canva or Figma import — anything more you write in HTML and CSS.
- We do not generate video. Output is a still image (PNG, JPEG, WebP) or a one-page PDF of the template.
- We do not host customer fonts — `GET /v1/fonts` returns the families available.
