ScreenshotOne, Urlbox and ApiFlash are dedicated screenshot services with years of track record and many more knobs than we have: geolocated browsers, full ad-blocking lists, video and scrolling captures, element-by-element extraction. If screenshots are your core product and you need those, use them. We make sense when you want screenshots next to your OG images, on one key and one quota, at a lower price per capture.
Screenshots run in a separate browser pool on an isolated network. Its only way out is an egress proxy that allows public addresses on ports 80 and 443 — redirects, frames and scripts that point at private, loopback or cloud-metadata addresses are refused after DNS resolution. Your own templates render in a different pool with no network at all.
