Shareglint as an
alternative to Creatomate

A video and image creation API "for developers and no-code users": templates rendered to MP4 videos, GIFs and images.

Before you read on

Creatomate does video, and we do not: its templates render to real MP4 videos — a 30-second vertical Short is how it counts its credits — as well as images, with official Zapier, Make and n8n integrations, CSV import and shareable forms. If your automation is mostly Shorts, Reels or product clips, it is built for that and we are not.

Which one to pick

Take Creatomate

Your content is video — Shorts, Reels, product clips — or you want an official Zapier, Make or n8n app.

Take Shareglint

You need still images, OG images by signed URL, PDFs or screenshots from templates written in HTML and CSS.

What migrating looks like

You rewrite the template once, as HTML and CSS. Preview costs no quota, so getting the layout right is free. Then you swap a single call on your side.

curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/images?wait=true" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"template":"blog-og","modifications":{"title":"...","author":"..."}}'
