qr-card

QR code card OG image template

A scan-to poster: a big QR code in a white card with viewfinder corners, a "Scan me" tab pointing at it, the headline and a short address.

QR code card template at portrait size (1080×1350)
QR code card template at story size (1080×1920)
QR code card template at pinterest size (1000×1500)
QR code card template at youtube size (1280×720)

These are real renders from the API with the example values in the table below. Switch the size above: the same template lays itself out for all 6 sizes — send size or sizes with the request.

For restaurants, shops, events and print-to-digital campaigns: menus, Wi-Fi, reviews, app downloads, payment links. Pass the QR code as an image; without one the card shows an empty frame with the three finder squares. The headline shrinks to fit, the caption keeps two lines. Wide frames put the text left and the code right; square and vertical frames stack the headline, the code and the caption with the tab pointing down.

Fields

Every field is optional. Long text shrinks to fit instead of overflowing; an image field takes a public URL that we fetch on our side.

Field Type Description Example
headline text Main line, e.g. Our menu is one scan away. default: Scan to open Our menu is one scan away
qr image URL QR code image (generate it in your system and pass its URL). https://example.com/images/b03-qr.png
cta text Text on the tab next to the code, e.g. Scan me. default: Scan me Scan me
caption text One or two lines on what the code opens. Seasonal dishes, allergens and today’s specials on your phone.
url_label text Short address for those who type it, e.g. roastery.cafe/menu. roastery.cafe/menu
logo image URL Logo above the headline. https://example.com/images/logo-roastery.png
accent colour Brand colour as hex, e.g. #6366f1. Drives buttons, highlights and the background glow. default: #facc15 #facc15
theme dark | light Colour scheme: dark or light. —

Render it with one request

Use the slug as template. The response holds the URL of the finished PNG; ?wait=true keeps the connection open until it is ready.

curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/images?wait=true" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "template": "qr-card",
    "modifications": {
        "headline": "Our menu is one scan away",
        "cta": "Scan me",
        "caption": "Seasonal dishes, allergens and today’s specials on your phone.",
        "url_label": "roastery.cafe/menu",
        "qr": "https://example.com/images/b03-qr.png",
        "logo": "https://example.com/images/logo-roastery.png"
    }
}'

Or paste a signed URL into og:image

For static sites, Webflow, Shopify and no-code tools: put the fields in the query string and sign it with your signing secret. The first request renders the image, every later one is a redirect to the cached file. How to compute the signature.

accent and theme change per request. For anything more, copy the template into your account: you get an ordinary HTML template with the same fields that you can edit in the dashboard or through the API. If the slug is free on your account, the copy takes it — your integrations switch to your version without changing a line.
