# Podcast guest OG image template

Guest and host photos cut apart by a diagonal mic cable, the show cover as a seal on the corner and the guest's name leading the text.

For podcasts announcing a guest, guests sharing "I'm on this show", and hosting platforms that make a card per episode. A long `guest_name` shrinks to fit, the role and the episode title are clamped to two and three lines, and the show name and link end in an ellipsis. A missing photo becomes initials on a tinted mic-grille pattern; without a `cover` the seal shows the show's initials; with neither `host_name` nor `host_photo` the guest takes the whole photo panel and the cable is not drawn. Wide frames put the photo panel on the left and the text on the right; square and portrait frames put the panel on top, and story and Pinterest frames turn the seam nearly horizontal, guest above host, so both faces keep a wide crop.

## Fields

Every field is optional. Long text shrinks to fit instead of overflowing; an image field takes a public URL that we fetch on our side.

| Field | Type | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| `guest_name` | text | The guest's name, the largest text on the card. (default: Guest name) | Elena Marsh |
| `guest_title` | text | The guest's role, e.g. Head of Platform at Aurora Audio. | Head of Platform at Aurora Audio |
| `guest_photo` | image URL | Photo of the guest; a face in the middle of a square photo works best. | https://example.com/images/avatar-woman2.jpg |
| `show_name` | text | Name of the show, in accent capitals above the guest's name. | The Build Room |
| `episode_title` | text | Title of the episode, in serif italics under the role. | Shipping a design system to forty teams without a freeze |
| `episode_number` | text | Episode number; a bare number is shown as #87, anything else as given. | 87 |
| `host_name` | text | The host's name, on a tag in the corner of the host's photo. | Daniel Okafor |
| `host_photo` | image URL | Photo of the host, on the other side of the cable. | https://example.com/images/avatar-man2.jpg |
| `date` | text | Release date, e.g. 2026-11-04 (written out in the request's language); other text is shown as given. | 2026-11-04 |
| `cover` | image URL | Show cover, shown as a small square seal on the photo panel's corner. | https://example.com/images/b09-show-cover.png |
| `listen_url` | text | Where to listen, next to a play button; https:// is dropped. | buildroom.fm/87 |
| `accent` | colour | Brand colour as hex, e.g. #6366f1. Drives buttons, highlights and the background glow. (default: #14b8a6) | #14b8a6 |
| `theme` | dark | light | Colour scheme: dark or light. | — |

## Make it yours

accent and theme change per request. For anything more, copy the template into your account: you get an ordinary HTML template with the same fields that you can edit in the dashboard or through the API. If the slug is free on your account, the copy takes it — your integrations switch to your version without changing a line.

```bash
curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/templates/library/podcast-guest/copy" -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY"
