# Event OG image template

Event name, date and venue next to a photo cut on a diagonal.

- Slug: `event`
- Preview (real render): https://shareglint.com/img/templates/event.jpg
- Page: https://shareglint.com/en/templates/event

For conferences, meetups, webinars and launches. The photo is cut on a diagonal with a band in your accent colour, so the card reads like a poster even as a small preview. Date and venue get their own icons; without a photo the text takes the whole frame.

## Fields

Every field is optional. Long text shrinks to fit instead of overflowing; an image field takes a public URL that we fetch on our side.

| Field | Type | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| `name` | text | Event name. (default: Event name) | Frontend Summit 2026 |
| `date` | text | Date as you want it printed. | June 12–14, 2026 |
| `venue` | text | Venue or city. | Lisbon Congress Centre |
| `eyebrow` | text | Short label above the title. | Conference |
| `site` | text | Your domain or a short URL. | frontendsummit.io |
| `image` | image URL | Photo of the venue, the stage or the audience. | https://example.com/images/conference.jpg |
| `accent` | colour | Brand colour as hex, e.g. #6366f1. Drives buttons, highlights and the background glow. (default: #a855f7) | #a855f7 |
| `theme` | dark | light | Colour scheme: dark or light. | — |

## Render it with one request

```bash
curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/images?wait=true" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "template": "event",
    "modifications": {
        "name": "Frontend Summit 2026",
        "date": "June 12–14, 2026",
        "venue": "Lisbon Congress Centre",
        "eyebrow": "Conference",
        "site": "frontendsummit.io",
        "image": "https://example.com/images/conference.jpg"
    }
}'
```

## Make it yours

accent and theme change per request. For anything more, copy the template into your account: you get an ordinary HTML template with the same fields that you can edit in the dashboard or through the API. If the slug is free on your account, the copy takes it — your integrations switch to your version without changing a line.

```bash
curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/templates/library/event/copy" -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY"
```
