# Definition card OG image template

A glossary term set like a dictionary entry: headword, pronunciation, numbered sense and the example as a margin note.

For glossary pages, documentation, education and dictionaries generating one card per term. The headword shrinks to fit, the definition shrinks and then clamps, and the example keeps a few lines in its note. A thumb-index tab with the term's first letter sits on the right edge. Wide frames put the example in the outer margin beside the definition; square and vertical frames move it under the definition.

## Fields

Every field is optional. Long text shrinks to fit instead of overflowing; an image field takes a public URL that we fetch on our side.
