# Growing bar chart OG image template

Up to eight bars that rise one after another, each value landing on top, under a headline.

- Slug: `animated-growing-bars`
- Preview (real render): https://shareglint.com/storage/template-previews/animated-growing-bars.jpg
- Page: https://shareglint.com/en/templates/animated-growing-bars

For growth posts, monthly reports and investor updates shared as GIF or MP4. Send the bars as `Label:value` pairs; they are scaled to the largest value and the last one is highlighted. A still format renders the finished chart.

## Fields

Every field is optional. Long text shrinks to fit instead of overflowing; an image field takes a public URL that we fetch on our side.

| Field | Type | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| `title` | text | The main headline. (default: Chart title) | Signed URLs now serve most of our traffic |
| `values` | text | Bars as Label:value pairs separated by commas, up to 8, e.g. May:18, Jun:24, Jul:31. (default: A:3, B:5, C:8) | May:18, Jun:24, Jul:31, Aug:39, Sep:52, Oct:67 |
| `unit` | text | What the values measure, shown under the chart, e.g. Share of renders, %. | Share of renders, % |
| `eyebrow` | text | Short label above the title. | Growth |
| `site` | text | Your domain or a short URL. | northwind.dev/blog |
| `accent` | colour | Brand colour as hex, e.g. #6366f1. Drives buttons, highlights and the background glow. (default: #0ea5e9) | #0ea5e9 |
| `theme` | dark | light | Colour scheme: dark or light. | — |

## Render it with one request

```bash
curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/images?wait=true" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "template": "animated-growing-bars",
    "modifications": {
        "title": "Signed URLs now serve most of our traffic",
        "values": "May:18, Jun:24, Jul:31, Aug:39, Sep:52, Oct:67",
        "unit": "Share of renders, %",
        "eyebrow": "Growth",
        "site": "northwind.dev/blog"
    }
}'
```

## Make it yours

accent and theme change per request. For anything more, copy the template into your account: you get an ordinary HTML template with the same fields that you can edit in the dashboard or through the API. If the slug is free on your account, the copy takes it — your integrations switch to your version without changing a line.

```bash
curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/templates/library/animated-growing-bars/copy" -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY"
```
