# Images for real estate: listing cards, open houses and just-sold posts from your listings

> Listing previews, open-house and just-sold posts, agent cards and stories, generated from your listing data in every social size. Templates and limits.

A real estate agency publishes the same handful of images for every property: the "new listing" post, the open-house announcement, "just sold", the agent's card, a story or two, and the preview that appears when the listing link is shared. Each is the same layout with a new price, address and photo. With Shareglint those layouts become templates and your listing data becomes the input — one request per listing, or a batch for every open house this weekend.

## The templates

Built-in templates for property marketing, each rendered in every size preset (og 1200×630, square 1080×1080, portrait 1080×1350, story 1080×1920, pinterest 1000×1500, youtube 1280×720):

| Template | Fields | Use |
|---|---|---|
| `real-estate` | price, address, city, beds, baths, area, badge, photo, logo | "New listing" posts and link previews |
| `open-house` | address, day, month, time, city, price, agent, photo, avatar | Open-house announcements |
| `real-estate-just-sold` | status, address, city, sale price, old price, days on market, agent, photos | "Just sold" and "under contract" posts |
| `realtor-agent-card` | name, title, brokerage, stats, phone, email, licence, photo, logo | The agent's own card |

The [local business category](https://shareglint.com/en/templates/category/local) of the gallery shows each one rendered. Any of them can be copied into your account and changed — colours, fonts, the position of the logo — or replaced by your own HTML and CSS.

## A post for every new listing

When a listing goes live, send its data and ask for the sizes you post in:

```bash
curl -X POST "https://shareglint.com/v1/images?wait=true" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "template": "real-estate",
    "sizes": ["portrait", "story", "og"],
    "format": "jpeg",
    "modifications": {
      "price": "$649,000", "address": "14 Alder Lane", "city": "Portland, OR",
      "beds": "3", "baths": "2", "area": "1,840 sq ft", "badge": "New listing",
      "photo": "https://cdn.example.com/listings/14-alder/front.jpg"
    }
  }'
```

The 4:5 portrait goes to the Instagram and Facebook feed, the 9:16 story to stories, the 1.91:1 card to the listing page's `og:image`. Prices and areas are text you send, so write them the way your market reads them (`£650,000`, `649 000 zł`, `120 m²`). JPEG is the format for anything a scheduler will post to Instagram; its publishing API takes JPEG only ([Instagram content publishing](https://developers.facebook.com/documentation/instagram-platform/content-publishing)).

## Every open house this weekend, in one batch

Most agencies keep upcoming open houses in a CRM or a spreadsheet. Export them as CSV with columns named after the template's fields (`address`, `day`, `month`, `time`, `price`, `agent`, `photo`) and a `filename` per listing, and send the file to `POST /v1/batches` with the sizes you need. Every listing comes back as image URLs and the whole set as one ZIP. Rows per batch by plan: Free 50, Starter 500, Pro 1,000, Scale 2,000, Business 5,000. Without code, the dashboard's bulk page takes the same CSV, and automation tools can do it per new row ([Google Sheets](https://shareglint.com/en/integrations/google-sheets), [Airtable](https://shareglint.com/en/integrations/airtable), [Zapier](https://shareglint.com/en/integrations/zapier)).

## A preview for every listing page

When a buyer shares a listing link in a chat, the preview is the page's `og:image`. On many sites that is the first photo, cropped by each app in its own way, or the agency logo. Two ways to give every listing a proper card without touching each page:

- **Signed URL in the page template.** Your site computes an image URL from the listing's price, address and photo, signed with your secret; the image renders the first time a crawler fetches it ([signed image URLs](https://shareglint.com/en/guides/signed-image-urls)).
- **Auto OG.** One tag in the site's `<head>` reads each page's title, description and image and renders a card for it, for domains you allow ([OG images without code](https://shareglint.com/en/og-images-without-code)).

Either way, a listing whose price changes gets a new image, because the values changed; an unchanged one is never rendered twice.

## Stories and the agent's brand

Stories suit open houses and price changes — a countdown to Saturday, a "price reduced" frame. Keep text away from the top and bottom, where Instagram draws its own controls; Meta recommends keeping about 14% at the top and 35% at the bottom of story ads free of text ([Meta Ads Guide](https://www.facebook.com/business/ads-guide/update/image/instagram-story); more in [Instagram stories](https://shareglint.com/en/use-cases/instagram-stories)). For agents, `realtor-agent-card` with the agent's photo, stats and licence number makes a consistent profile post and email signature banner. Every template takes `accent` and `theme`, so each brokerage's colours carry through all of them.

## What to check before publishing

- **Photo rights.** Listing photos are often licensed for the listing, not for ads; check what your photographer's licence allows.
- **Advertising rules.** Many markets regulate property ads (licence numbers, fair-housing wording, how prices are stated). The template prints what you send; the compliance is yours.
- **Accuracy.** Price and status should come from the same data your website uses, so the post never contradicts the listing.

## Cost

One render per image and size; repeats with the same values are free. An agency with 20 new listings a month, three sizes each, plus weekly open houses uses roughly 100–150 renders a month. The Free plan's 100 renders carry a watermark; Starter is $9 a month for 2,000 renders ([pricing](https://shareglint.com/en/pricing)).

## What it does not do

- No MLS, IDX or portal integration: listing data comes from your own exports, code or automations.
- No posting to social networks or listing portals; your scheduler or CRM does that with the image URLs.
- No photo editing, virtual staging or AI-generated interiors — the template lays out the photos you give it.

## FAQ

### Can listing images be generated automatically?

Yes. A listing card, an open-house announcement or a just-sold post is a fixed layout filled with the price, address, photo and agent. Send those values from your listing data and the image comes back in every social size.

### Do you connect to an MLS or a listing portal?

No. There is no MLS or portal integration. The data comes from you: a CSV export from your CRM or website, your own code, or an automation tool that watches a spreadsheet.

### Can every listing page on our website get its own preview image?

Yes. Put a signed image URL or an auto OG tag in the listing page template, and each listing gets a card with its own photo, price and address when the link is shared.

### Who owns the listing photos?

You do, or the photographer does, as before. The template only places the photo you provide; check that your licence covers social posts and ads.
